Dasvandh ~ Spirit of Giving

Dasvandh is the spiritual tradition of tithing 10% of one's income, and is an act of gratitude and faith which blesses one’s life with prosperity. The Siri Singh Sahib taught that… “Every act is blessed in which one-tenth belongs to God." Join us in learning the sacred technology of giving and awaken to the blessing of befriending the Unknown.

“This centuries old custom is for mankind, for the people of many religions.  Through many times it has been emphasized that a person should take one tenth of his income, his assets, as an offering to the higher self, and that’s the basic procedure which we are talking about today.  Actually Dasvandh is nothing but seed money and for everyone who is a Sikh of the Guru, this tenth belongs to the Guru.  When a person spares one tenth to the Guru and through a combined combination it gives to the community, it gives energy to the Dharma.  Let us understand it once again: it is a privilege, it is the best of the person and it is the action of giving which is important.”

“May the grace of God be with us, may our virtues come through, may our personality come through with the power of intuition so that we can seed the seeds for prosperity and perpetual infinity of enjoyment in our life, fully protected by God’s grace.  Sat Nam.” – Siri Singh Sahib
